Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Controller will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsabilities
1. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
2. Support the budgeting and forecasting process for Operating expenses, Marketing and Other Operating expenses providing insightful analysis
3. Credit notes customers calculations
4. Coordinate with Finance team and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Manage working capital, in particular consignment stocks, inventory management, and capital expenditure to optimize financial resources.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
7. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices.
8. Day by day activities concerning accounting activities.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in medical devices. 7 years relevant experience.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting standards.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
5. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (SAP /BW) ; advanced Excel skills preferred.
6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
