Senior Accounting Manager

Allianz Bank Financial Advisors is seeking for a Senior Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Manage & review monthly IAS/IFRS closing activities
• Perform the accounting reporting and the analytical review for the relevant stakeholders (e.g. Top Management, Board of directors, etc.)
• Review all the regulatory reporting towards Bank of Italy/regularory institutions (e.g. Segnalazioni di Vigilanza)
• Prepare the statutory annual and semi-annually accounts in Italian Gaap and IAS/IFRS
• Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit
• Actively participate in the accounting system transition – finance trasformation
• Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems
• Report issues/key transactions to the Management
• Drive continuous improvement in processes

Education & Experience:
 

• 8-10 years of experience in accounting/audit with a strong expertise in banking/private banking industry
• Master Degree in Accounting/Management/Finance required
• Big 4 experience
• Experience in reporting to senior management
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Italian Gaap
• Knowledge on consolidation dynamics and criteria
• Good knowledge on taxation
• Major ERP System knowledge
• Proficient Office user (especially Microsoft Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organized with strong communication skills
• Proactive and keen for detail
• Team-player and autonomous

Fluent in English; Full proficiency in Italian
