JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join our Turin site. You will be responsible for Statutory Financial accounting, reporting and financial regulatory requirements. Whilst, being in charge of accurate and timely month-end and periodic reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be be responsible for Reconciling Balance sheet accounts including Sub-ledger account (eg. Bank Statements, AR, VAT, Inter-company, etc.)
- Participate in the monthly compliance review of the balance sheets
- You support the preparation of tax and regulatory returns in a timely manner for review.
- Can support on the preparation of the statutory accounts.
- You support on internal and external audit requirements, liaising with the auditors and colleagues across the business as required.
- You'll be a part qualified accountant with 3 - 5 years PQE
- You have knowledge of Italian accounting: Knowledge of IFRS accounting rules. Experience of producing financial statements for an Italian entity beneficial in a multinational framework, and a good understanding of local fiscal requirements
- You are experienced in working with Italian local ERP (Gamma is a plus) as an end-user in Finance/Accounting
- Experienced in running/closing process
- You are Fluent in English
