RESTAURANT MANAGER

The selected professional will have the privilege of joining the team at Hotel Cipriani, an icon of excellence and sophistication in the Venetian hotel scene.

This prestigious establishment, located on the island of Giudecca, is celebrated for its captivating views of the lagoon and its high-level culinary offerings, enriched by venues like the Michelin-starred Oro Restaurant and the Cip's Club, which boasts a terrace overlooking iconic views of Venice.

The hotel is distinguished by an environment where service excellence and attention to detail create an unparalleled hospitality experience. The candidate will contribute directly to maintaining and enhancing these standards, embodying and transmitting values of elegance and perfection.

The Restaurant Manager will be positioned within the Oro restaurant, working alongside the Chef to ensure a high-profile guest experience. Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant Manager in charge of F&B, the role involves responsibility for ensuring service efficiency and quality.

This is a seasonal position due to start latest April 2024.

Among the main responsibilities:

• Direct the restaurant operations on a daily basis ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction
• Recruit the restaurant team, train and develop the new resources
• Maintain a daily liaison with the kitchen team ensuring a harmonious relationship between culinary and service team
• Work closely with the EAM in charge of F&B and the Chef
• Contribute to the development of the restaurant offer whilst evolving and improving continuously the assigned venue.

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant luxury hospitality environment acquired preferably while working a similar position within 5* hotels or starred restaurants
• Fluency both in Italian and English is mandatory; good knowledge of French is beneficial
• Strong leadership skills
• Be service oriented and guest focused
