RINA is currently recruiting for a Renewable Power Consultant to join its office in Milan, Genoa, Rome, Bari, Lecce - Italy within the Green Energy Solutions Division.
Mission
This role mainly focuses on providing Owner's Engineering Services and Independent Engineering Services within Italy and Southeast Europe. You will be expected to travel approximately 10% of your time.
Key Accountabilities
- Reviewing resource, technology, structural studies, electrical design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, permitting, health & safety reports, grid offers and connection agreements
- Execute feasibility studies as well as preliminary design of Renewable Power plants
- Some degree of project management, proactively communicating with clients, the internal team and stakeholders to deliver client requirements
- Supporting the preparation of proposals and reports
- Supporting the preparation and management of tendering, negotiation and selection of contractors and key component provider, BoP, O&M, or EPC contracts and planning condition discharging
- Conducting site visits/joining Senior Consultants on site visit inspections and supporting the production of reports

Education
Qualifications & Experiences
- Having at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy either solar PV or wind is essential (preferably gained in an Engineering & Consultancy Company or with a PC Contractor)
- An electrical engineering background and experience of electrical design would be advantageous
- Proficiency with AutoCad and Vcase
- Having experience in renewable permitting process would be advantageous
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
