We are seeking a Quality Engineer to sustain and develop product and functional quality within our factory. The role involves overseeing the Control Plan for the Value Stream, validating standardized work from a quality perspective and being leading advocate for customer quality. Additionally, the Quality Engineer will drive supplier quality improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Follow up the quality of the incoming goods and packages from safety perspective and identify concerns of unsafe practices
- Follow up and reporting of quality defects and deviations
- Conduct internal/external quality audits as required and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate and follow-up of incoming goods inspection
- Support Value Stream with training on the use of Problem Solving methodology
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology
- Several years experience from quality function and strong experience from mechanical industry and assembly operations
- Knowledge and awareness of different quality tools - ERP, A3 ,8D ,Kaizen etc
- Good co-operations skills with internal and external parties
- Strong technical understanding of manufactured products and it’s functionality
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Quality and process understanding and development attitude
- English language skills: written-excellent; spoken-good
