It’s an exciting time to join the Marketing & Communications team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. To contribute to the development of new initiatives in the AXA Health Wellbeing proposition portfolio, we’re looking for a talented individual to join the team.

As Proposition ManagerWellbeing & Service Design, you’ll manage the development of new and existing initiatives in the proposition portfolio, including the Service Design and blueprint creation of new digital care pathways.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Work with the Insight team to develop new customer, business and competitor insights to develop class-leading propositions and customer journeys.
  • Ensure customer insights flow into concept development and employ customer-centric design techniques to create compelling value concepts.
  • Develop end-to-end Service Designs and blueprints, creating digital first but not digital only journeys that are loved by our members.
  • Work with the Senior and Lead Proposition managers to procure and onboard third party services.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business that support the delivery of digital Wellbeing propositions.
  • Consistently develop and review Customer, clinical, and business KPIs against plan to consistently provide feedback loops into new proposition development.  
  • Manage frameworks for identifying and mitigating risk, considering all categories including Conduct, Operational and Business risk.
  • Progress new operating models and proposition development through the business governance processes.

Your Profile

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of developing digital and non-digital products from insight to launch phase, within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstratable experience of developing customer insight briefs to drive proposition concept design.
  • Experience in leading Service Design within a Wellbeing and Healthcare setting, mapping end-to-end operational processes and customer journeys to support new propositions and pathways.
  • Experience of working with operations and digital development teams to develop customer propositions, both internally and with third party partners.
  • Good understanding of the customer, business and clinical metrics required to appraise Wellbeing propositions and pathways.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally with hands-on experience of launching propositions, on time and in control.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks to manage financial, non-financial and clinical risk.
  • Understanding of the basic concepts associated with P&L and pricing and good appreciation of the commercial dynamics with the Healthcare sector.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
