We are currently looking for a talented Project Manager Technical & Design Development to support our Toy Development Team in Alba.

The candidate will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, with the following responsibilities:

- Development of Kinder Surprise toys starting from creative design proposals initially provided by Marketing (internal creativity or licensed items)
- Realization of prototypes, managing external 3D modelers following above mentioned input, respecting internal project work flow, safety requirements and defined cost target, internal project follow up and approval flow with dedicated process tool (PLM on SAP)
-Transformation of 2D design proposal into a Kinder toy without losing its design esthetics and playability but respecting all production, safety and cost related aspects
- Active contribution to the development, proposing improvements to the design where necessary (function, safety)
-Involvement key stakeholders (Marketing, Licensing, Quality, Industrialization), throughout the project development
- Creation of technical sheets for each item to determine how the item is made (material description, parts design, type of mold) and to check cost (design to cost)
-Ability to create, work with and respect dedicated timings and monitor the whole process to ensure the achievement of the project goals in time
- Handling of 3D printed parts printed internally by Stratasys PolyJet 3D printer
- Create requisitions for goods and services acquired and ensure the completion of the process (SAP)
-Managing external 3D model – makers
- Monitor the prototype costs and, if necessary, implement corrective actions.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of design and realization
- Experience in toy design is a plus
- Good understanding of plastic injection molding process and plastic material characteristics
-Good understanding of decoration processes (mainly on plastic parts)
-Ability to sketch in order to communicate design and design-changes to Marketing and Model Makers
-Acting proactively with a problem-solving attitude
- Result oriented and organized in the work process
- Analytical skills
-Enjoying working in team
-Willing to relocate in Italy and in other countries

- Master Degree in Product Design ( or similar)

IT Skills
-Know – how in 3D construction software such as for example Rhinoceros, Solid Works, Maya, Freeform or similar
-Good PC command (Excel, PowerPoint)
-Familiarity with SAP Architecture is considered as a plus

Languages

- Good understanding of English (writing and speaking) and Italian profIciency
