Solaris Biotech , a
Donaldson brand under Life Science & Special Applications,
Designs and Manufactures Bioprocessing equipment, including Bioreactors, Fermenters, and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems for R&D and production purposes.
We engage in providing high-tech bioprocess solutions, our products are used in Universities and Research Centers, as well as in Biotech, Pharma, Food and Beverage, Nutraceutical, Cosmeceutical, Chemical, Agricultural industries, not to mention Bioplastics and Biofuels applications.
The position will be based in Porto Mantovano (Mantua - Italy).Job Purpose:
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager for our internal Industrial Division .
Key Responsibilities :
You will be responsible for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
You will communicate the project status and progress to Donaldson Management and key stakeholders.
You will prepare and maintain project documents, budgets, and schedules.
You will collaborate and work effectively with teams involved in Project activities (sales, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, procurement, and finance).
You will also be responsible for the alignment and execution of priorities for improving cost, timelines, and quality in conjunction with manufacturing operations.
This involves formulating practical plans to optimize material sourcing, production planning, product movement scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and meeting customer demands.
You will be responsible for planning the resources and assigning the priorities.
At all times, you will remain flexible in adapting the timelines based on changes or integrations during the project execution.
You will ensure effective communication and updates with Customers.
You will manage and follow up all the relevant master data (e.g. BOMS, routings, MRP settings) on Oracle R12 system.
You are also responsible for analyzing current inventory numbers and procedures; and deploying improvements to increase the efficiency of timelines and profitability at all times.
Degree qualified in Engineering discipline (Bachelor's or Master's) with Project Management orientation is preferred.
5+ years of experience in a Supervisory or Project management role.
Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence and communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
Previous experience leading projects in the area of automated equipment for manufacturing.
E xperience in using Oracle R12 system.
Knowledge of MS Office package and Microsoft Project Software.
Fluent in English & Italian.

:
Ability to prioritize projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
You are familiar with feasibility analysis integrating technical constraints, planning, cost, and risk management.
Experience in manufacturing companies (not-standard projects).
Flexibility, ability to multitask, manage timelines and budgetary guidelines, and adapt accordingly to possible changes.
Proactive attitude and ability to make decisions when necessary.
You have solid communication skills with various audiences and an open mindset to manage customer needs and translate them to achievable goals.
