About the Role:

We are currently looking for a talented candidate in product development & implementation of new products as well as defining industrial processes for Kinder products thus across the world. The candidate will also liaise with colleagues from different teams and departments, colleagues from factories around the world and our key business Stakeholders to execute flawless projects. The candidate will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, with the following responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and perform the necessary trials and experiments to deliver product and process development projects that meet defined requirements;

  • Creation and ownership of the industrial recipes for the products under its responsibility;

  • Provide support on project implementation from concept, industrialisation to product launch;

  • Leverage product & process expertise on Kinder products that could be made with diffetent types of bread, creams and different ingredients  via lab trials, scale-up trials, factory and supplier’s trials, taste trials.

  • Identify new ingredients suitable for the Kinder bakery products & develop new recipes according to Kinder guidelines;

  • Ensure optimum organoleptic characteristics of new Kinder bakery products throughout shelf-life

  • Communicate clearly & share Knowledge / Best Practices with peers

  • Ensure Compliance with all Kinder bakery specifications

  • Define key technological parameters to produce new Kinder bakery products

  • Continuously improve existing manufacturing processes through LEAN & AGILE methods

  • Be a reference for Marketing,  Engineering, Plants technologists, Quality Dpt, R&D Raw & Pack materials.

  • Work in strict cooperation with Lab DTC and Project Team DTC

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree / diploma in Food Technology / Food Science or related field

  • 1-5 years of work experience in R&D, quality or technical position with subsequent experiences preferred in bakery.

  • Evidence of the ability to lead projects from concept to launch

  • Strong communication with technical & commercial teams are considered a plus;

  • Passionate for our products, consumers and category

  • Strong Knowledge of Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory and Nutritional Analysis, industrial processes

  • Result-oriented, Problem Solving as well as attention to details are key;

  • Team working oriented;
