RINA is currently recruiting for a Planning & Reporting Specialist to join its office in Rozzano (Milano) within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The Site Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of activities at the site. The individual should be dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Effective communication and collaboration with managers, along with proactive problem-solving, are essential for success in this role.

Key Accountabilities

  • RINA is currently recruiting for  Senior Planning and Reporting Specialist

    Responsible for developing, safeguarding (within the Group) and disseminating (to colleagues) key technical/professional knowledge.

    Job Purpose:

  • To support the project services manager for the planning, scheduling and cost budgeting of upstream Projects.
  • To provide support for Project time and cost control, monitor the project progress, provide accurate project time and cost reports, verifying time and cost performance against plan, and identifying areas of potential time target and budget overrun requiring corrective action.
  • Main responsibilities and key activities:

    -    Project planning and control, use of project control tools.

    -    Scheduling and time control, use of scheduling tools.

    -    Budgeting and cost control.

    -    Project work and cost progress analysis.

    -    Support for preparation of project procedures on planning and control.

  • Preparation of project WBS and CBS according to cost estimates and planning.
  • Detailed scheduling of project activities and support for the budget/forecast preparation.
  • -    Control of contractors and project team schedules producing project progress reports.

    -    Include detailed contractors schedules into the project master schedule and identify critical path activities.

    -    Check physical progress, actual costs against plans and budgets, support for the estimate to complete.

    -    Preparation of Project of work progress and cost Reports.

    -    Plan and control of procurement and contract plans, preparation of contractual procedures/specs, support to contract administration.

    -    Perform earned value analysis.

    Required Experience:

    -      At least 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience.

    -    At least 5 years in equivalent position.

    Languages:

    Fluent knowledge of English and Italian.

    MAIN SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

        

    Project Configuration:

  • Develop Project Schedule Baseline: Sequence activities, Estimate activity resources & durations
  • Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis
  • Create ABS (Activities Breakdown Structure)
  • Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
  • Project Budget Determination
  •     

    Project Monitoring and Controlling Process:

  • Project Schedule Manage,
  • Control & Baseline update
  • Development Project Control Costs
  • Preparation of Project Performance Report (Weekly, Monthly) of the general status update, cost, economics, scheduling, authorization situation
  • Project Scope Control & Change Management
  •  

    ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System)

  • SIGEP effective use and implementation
  • Project Master Data Base management
  • Specialist software knowledge & effective use: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project

Education

High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other

Qualifications

Experience:
- Several years of experience with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
