In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).
Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.
Descrizione ruolo e principali attivit?
You will report directly to the Head of Operations- Italy and your main objective will be to provide help creating, building and structuring reporting tools for the sustainability compliance, and to provide support to maintenance structuration.
(COMPANY NAME) BIogas Solutions Italia is a young entity that is growing very fast.
It now has several Bio-LNG plants running in the Est-Milan area ; while others are in construction. These plants produce Bio-LNG using agricultural feedstock and have an integrated treatment with the whole value chain on the same plant, making it a very complete industrial model.
The plants are subject to strict rules, and report towards the State organizations lots of data to prove its compliance towards regulation especially in terms of Sustainability.
The operations team is growing as well and needs some support in order to be more efficient on both plant management and reporting.
You will report directly to the Head of Operations- Italy and your main objective will be to provide help creating, building and structuring reporting tools for the sustainability compliance, and to provide support to maintenance structuration.
Part of the Operations team in Italy, your main missions will be to :
* Assist the Operations team in building an integrated reporting system for the Sustainability Department.
* Provide follow-up tools for daily maintenance onsite and help the operators to be efficient while performing plant daily check
* Provide support on annual maintenance structuration
* Take part in general operations tasks including onsite, from times to time.
You will interact with the Asset Performance manager responsible for the production of the plants, with the Sustainability manager in charge of Database tools and legal reporting, and with the Maintenance manager in charge of maintenance organization, execution and purchasing.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in operations, maintenance and commissioning activities onsite allowing you to discover industrial assets from the inside.
Profilo e competenze
You are graduating in mech/elec/process engineering and you are interested in working as project engineer / maintenance engineer in fields linked to biogas, gas processing and industrial compliance.
Your English is fluent and you are comfortable in handling relations with different stakeholders within the organization.
You are an Italian speaker and thus able to interact on a daily basis for both plant activities or reporting related activities.
You have skills in programmation and feel comfortable in working on small user-oriented projects in JavaScript as well as performing troubleshooting.
You are flexible, adaptable and have good communication skills. You have a problem solving approach.
You feel comfortable with the fact of working onsite on a plant from time to time under the supervision of the Operations team, and you are interested in discovering an industrial activity from the very inside and practical side.
