Job Summary

Tetra Pak Food Engineering provides sales and services on processing plants within food, dairy & beverage industry in Italy.
Within the Processing Cluster, we are looking for a customer based  Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who can perform corrective, preventive and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over continuous food processing equipments like specific liquid food valve and pumps . He will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of processing equipments and provide technical training to our customers.   
This is a permanent position based in Monza (Italy).

What you will do

  • You will have the full responsibility to perform at customer site: preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and fault findings
  • Provide technical reports and suitable recommendations in order to ensure customer reliability about Tetra Pak’s services
  • Drive customer to upgrade existing machine/plant, in order to maintain the highest grade of efficiency and performance guarantee
  • The job includes frequent travels throughout Italy (approx. 90% of the time) and, being part of a cluster Service Organization, you might also be required to travel abroad

We believe you have

  • You are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • You have a technical education in Mechanic, Electric and Electronic components 
  • You should have spent some years providing installation, commissioning and servicing on freezers and equipment and/or processing lines. preferably in the food or chemical or pharmaceutical applications Pumps and Valves
  • You have developed specific competences on mechanics, electro technology and hydraulics
  • You should have proven experience on mechanics and fluid-dynamics
  • Good knowledge on electrical panel, MCC, process instrumentation and electrical installation, mainly oriented to the troubleshooting and fault findings
  • Good command of computer skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and team working skills
  • “problem solving” approach, you are methodical and efficient
  • Flexible approach and availability to work in the weekends and overnight, if requested. Customer satisfaction is your key priority
