For our client, a leading company producing components for hydraulic solutions, we are looking for
Material Planner and Logistic Manager.
The candidate, placed in the Off Highway Division and reporting to the Plant Manager, will be responsible of all internal logistics processes: customer order confirmation to material planning, production planning scheduling (assembly lines and machining), inbound materials process, materials storage, shipments.
The resource will be inserted in a dynamic contest in which there is a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
- Planning and management of inbound and outbound flows throughout the production cycle;
- Overseeing and optimization of production planning process (from demand planning to the shipping);
- Definition of best procurement policy (consignment stock, Kanban, call off) finding right trade off between value of stock (DOH) and customer KPI (OTD and Short Lead time to market);
- Definition of stock reduction policies in order to improve rotation index;
- Lead and monitoring KPI of all logistics processes, in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency according management goals and target;
- Lead and coordination of logistics processes continuous improvement according Dana Operation System;
- Management of yearly inventory count;
- Responsibility of stock accuracy;
- Coordination of 45 resources;
- Use reports and metrics which analyze opportunities for savings and improvements, shipment frequencies & issues, claims issues and customer/supplier routing efficiencies;
- Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints reated to logist activities.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Engineering Bachelor Degree, preferably in Management Engineering;
- At least 5/6 years of experience in the role within manufacturing companies;
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Management Software and Office Application;
- English Fluent, Level B2;
- Good knowledge Lean manufacturing application to logistics process.
- Strong problem solving and team building skills;
- Proactivity, good interpersonal and excellent negotiation skills;
- Ability to handle high stress situations and strict deadlines while maintaining professionalism and high quality of work at all times;
- Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously.
Considered as a plus: WCM system knowledge, Logistics Cost Deployment.
