The Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director for Radiometer has the overall responsibility to assess and deeply understand each market potential and associated growth opportunities, and consequently develop and execute marketing initiatives to unlock this potential and increase market share across the whole products portfolio, leveraging Commercial Excellence tools & processes and partnering with the commercial teams to drive profitable revenues growth.

The Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director coordinates, in a matrix structure, the Marketing & Commercial Excellence teams across HGM, focusing on building a strong and performing organization, harmonizing and standardizing go-to-market (GTM) strategies and processes, acquiring deep market insights and developing initiatives to improve products positioning and expand market share.

This position is part of the HGM Leadership Team and report to the Senior Commercial Director High Growth Markets.  The role can be located in one of the geographies where we have a regional office set up and will be hybrid. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build, lead, coach and develop a best in class Marketing, Product Management and Commercial Excellence team across the region.

  • Lead and coordinate Commercial Excellence activities across the region, with particular focus on funnel management, CRM visibility and data quality, budget planning, KPI reporting, Ops reviews, Commercial Growth Rooms, strategic 3-5 years business plans, solutions/value selling, lead generation and follow-up, Channel Partners compliance.

  • Analyze and assess markets potential by country (especially through field/gemba insights, customer visits, VOC and market researches) and define strategic product positioning and optimal GTM strategy to generate DD revenues growth, maximize profitability, increase Installed Base and market share.

  • Lead and coordinate ad hoc and country/region specific marketing campaigns to generate leads and gain market share across the whole Radiometer products portfolio

  • Collaborate with Regional Director, GMs and Finance mgrs. in budget planning and identification of strategic initiatives to deliver profitable revenues growth

  • Actively participate in monthly Ops reviews, track commercial performances and coordinate DBS/Comex activities to deliver on expected business targets  

  • Define strategies and marketing plans to promote, expand and commercialize the whole product and solutions portfolio across the region.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent, with preferably knowledge of medical industry and global markets, combined with strong commercial experience. Masters preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of marketing and Commercial Excellence management experience, preferably from a global position in the medical industry

  • Leadership experience and abilities – demonstrated self-confidence, a positive and proactive approach to addressing challenges, fostering growth, and promoting open communication and collaboration, trustworthy, honest and non-political.

  • Strategic mindset and strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand Radiometer’s strategies and business model and convert strategy into action.

  • Demonstrated experience with content development and implementation

  • Well experienced in communicating and negotiating at all levels – internally as well as externally and ability to interact with various levels and different cultures within the organization.

  • Experience in budget planning and execution, funnel management and reporting.

  • Strong customer focused approach, innovative thinking combined with high rigor in standardizing processes and deliver results

  • Experience with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent internal and external communication skills and stakeholders management

  • Innovative solutions selling mindset

Language

  • Fluent in English

  • Fluency in one or more regional languages is an advantage. 

IT

  • Knowledge of CRM applications (Microsoft CRM preferred)

  • Expert usage of MS Office applications

  • Use of Mekko and other marketing specific applications

Travel (required estimated % of time)

  • Required 50% of the working time

Other

  • Experience with Commercial Excellence tools and processes

  • Knowledge of DBS methodology preferred
