The Finance team is starting a new project with the desired outcome of a new, integrated Forecasting and Budgeting process and related tools. The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering will be responsible to represent the Finance Business Partnering (FBP) team on the project engaging with the project team as well as with business managers to ensure the new tool and processes are fit for purpose both for the business as well as reporting purposes. She/he will be part of the FBP team and will participate in the team’s activities to ensure the necessary knowledge is acquired through ‘on the job training’ as well as close alignment with the Finance Business Partners and to provide forum for questions and guidance throughout the project.
THE ROLE
•Ensure FBP and Business requirements are appropriately taken into account in the project blue print (tool and processes) to enable secretariat teams to budget, forecast and monitor efficiently;
•Understand End-to-End of the proposed solutions both for the Secretariat budgeting and the Programmatic forecasting ;
•Ensure underlying programmatic forecast (for approvals) is captured as a basis for the cash-flow forecast;
•Conduct an assessment of the proposed solution and impact for the FBP and Secretariat/Business teams;
•Manage relationship and partnership with the business teams and the project team;
•Keep the FBP team members informed and consulted on the development of the proposed solutions;
•Map out the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ with key changes.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•Business relationship management and partnership with the FBP’s and the business teams to collect input, make sure the proposed solution meets the needs of the business and the FBP team ;
•Programmatic forecast - become deeply familiar with the needs of the country facing and technical teams as well as management for the forecast and reporting;
•Secretariat budget – represent the FBP and Secretariat teams’ needs to ensure budgeting tool is meeting the needs for efficient budgeting, rolling forecasting and monitoring;
•Provide analysis of ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ state and impact on the teams involved (incl. FBP);
•Build good relationship with the members of the business teams, FBP members and project team;
•Ensure understanding and alignment of the proposed solutions (keep FBP members up to date and consult the team on proposed solution);
•Lead the business facing process improvements with the project team taking into account simplifications and tools to be provided to business teams to efficiently forecast and monitor performance;
•Ensure connection of programmatic forecast with financial (cash-flow base) forecast;
•Connect on the Programme Funding Policy update work;
•Take into account the Target Operating Model (TOM) from Evolve (transformation project running in parallel);
•Understand the impact of detailed operationalisation feasibility of the proposed solution.

QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC
•Relevant financial and/or business qualification;
•MBA is an advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of 8 years in finance SG&A budgeting, monitoring and product and related expenditure forecasting position in a commercial organisations;
•Finance Business Partnering and project delivery experience is a plus.
