MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
• Support Financial Consultants on delivery of best practices & quality business standard.
• Monitor exiting product/fund platform & support new product/fund launch.
• Promote professionalism by coordination with various stakeholders for required training.
• Support implementation and regular review of sales tools according to business needs.
• As Responsible Officer for Life & General Insurance
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Support Financial Consultants on delivery of best practices & quality business standard
- Be familiar with regulatory & internal requirements, and proactively identify areas which require management attention or improvement
- Perform quality assurance check on sales process & use of sales/CRM tools, ensure sales practices & policy servicing in comply with regulatory/business rules
- Coordinate with Compliance Dept. on Distribution Compliance matters
- Review complaint cases, and initiate actions for improvement
Monitoring existing product/fund platform & support new product/fund launch
- Good understanding of current product/fund information and provide inputs/support on product/fund platform revamp
- Manage end-to-end process for new product/fund launch within Distribution Channel
Promote professionalism by coordination with various stakeholders for required training
- Coordinate with Training Dept. for timely delivery of sales training, CPD and online modules
- Coordinate with Fund House Partners for regular market updates and investment training
- Coordinate with various Depts. for respective training arrangement
- Regular review of training curriculum/materials to ensure it meets business needs
Support implementation and regular review of sales tools to tie with business focus
- Ensure all sales tools & sales presentation materials are approved and up-to-date
- Regular review of sales tools to align with ongoing business needs & regulatory changes
As Channel RO for Life & General Insurance
- Be responsible for the monitoring & quality assurance of regulated activities
- Keep abreast of updated regulatory requirements and ensure such information being effectively communicated to all Licensed Intermediaries, and to ensure they all have proper understanding of the information
- Ensure timely delivery of coaching/training on sales practices, product knowledge & regulatory requirements for all Licensed Intermediaries
Contribute to Channel’s sales initiatives/projects for achievement of planned deliverables
- Participate in sales initiatives/projects for achievement of business objectives, include sales recruitment
Maintain proper/accurate records & safe keeping of client data
- Ensure client data is protected in accordance with Internal & regulatory requirements, in particularly, Personal Data Privacy Ordinance and Enhanced Regulations on Direct Marketing
- Database management to ensure proper filing of all important documents/sign-off records
Your Profile
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
• University graduate, preferably in Finance, Economic or related disciplines
• Min 10 years solid experience in insurance industry, prior experience as Long-Term Insurance Responsible Officer preferred
• Thorough knowledge of financial services and insurance business
• Holder of IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 & 5
• Familiar with sales & distribution framework, as well as local investment environment & market conditions in HK
• Can work independently & proactively with strategic thinking capability
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills in both written & spoken English/Chinese
