MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER

Inxpect is a leading developer of smart radar sensors that transform industrial environments with cutting-edge AI and MACHINE LEARNING (ML) solutions. We are looking for a smart, passionate and motivated Junior-Mid Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for industrial safety.

Responsibilities:
• Implement pre-designed ML models to solve real-world problems in the industrial environment (e.g., computer vision for human detection).
• Collaborate with the senior ML engineer in the design and development of MACHINE LEARNING pipelines and new models.
• Analyze data and identify relevant features for the creation of effective ML models.
• Perform testing and evaluation activities to optimize model performance including optimization and deployment on embedded systems
• Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of the source code.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in ML and share your knowledge with the… team.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience is evaluated)
• 1-3 years of experience in MACHINE LEARNING, computer vision or related fields
• Strong knowledge of popular MACHINE LEARNING frameworks
• Good understanding of mathematics, statistics, and MACHINE LEARNING algorithms
• Exceptional programming skills in Python and familiarity with other OO programming languages (e.g., C++, Java)
• Design Patterns and software engineer principles knowledge are positively evaluated
• Familiarity with the concepts of DevOps and MLOps practices
• Experience with ML infrastructure and tools (e.g., MLflow, ClearML) is a plus
• Proficiency in code versioning using both command line and Git tools
• Knowledge of Sphynx or Doxygen as code documentation tools
• Experience with embedded systems is positively evaluated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
