In this role you will be involved in warehousing operations execution and logistics process improvement initiatives for the Italian sites within the Energy Distribution product group located in Santa Palomba (Rome), Vittuone (MI) and the external warehouses, ensuring alignment to defined SLA and continuous improvement to customers’ experience.Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will have the possibility to be involved in day by day operations support as well as contributing in improvement projects, including participation in Logistics 4.0 program.

Your responsibilities

• Performance monitoring of internal and external warehouses.
• Monitoring and resolution of process anomalies.
• Involvement in improvement projects on warehousing processes (process optimization adopting Lean approach, WMS system optimization, internal logistics layout optimization including bin locations optimization and configuration, quality improvement of shipments).
• Reporting improvement using Business Intelligence platform.
• Contribution to Logistics 4.0 program (AGV implementation and extension, WMS enhancement, etc.).

Your background

• A Master Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• Interest in the logistics, transportation and supply chain management in multinational manufacturing environment.
• Curiosity towards innovation and the potential offered by digitalization.
• Results orientation, respect for deadlines, teamwork, good communication skills and courage.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel (Macros and Pivot) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, access, Power BI or similar) and knowledge of programming language as vba, vb.net, c# or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehousing processes and WMS functionalities is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
