Logistics Associate - Addetto/A Ufficio Logistica

e-work S.p.A., recruitment agency, Faenza Branch, is hiring a LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE, on behalf of a company global leader in chemistry whose business is strongly growing on both national and international market. Initial fixed term contract.

The company uses technology to produce specialty materials and chemical products which are used in most major industries and consumer applications. 

We are looking for a LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE who will be in charge of executing delivery and logistics activities in a position that will be aligned by mode ensuring on time shipment from the plants and on time delivery to the customer.  Position will be responsible for day to day SAP transactions in addition to resolving any transportation delays, equipment challenges or other issues impacting on time delivery to the customer.

Duties and responsibilities:

• coordinate all load and shipment processes with local plant / warehouse / terminal personnel and carriers to ensure on time delivery to customer
• proactively monitor open orders and deliveries to avoid and resolve issues at the earliest possibility and mitigate negative impact of unavoidable disturbances
• key transactional contact for customers and 3rd party logistics service providers
• maintain key internal relationships including business, sales, supply chain planning, logistics procurement, product management and further functions.
• manage exceptions and emergency situations
• document, investigate and follow up of internal and external complaints

Requirements:

• 1-2 years supply chain experience
• SAP knowledge
• fluent English 
• German knowledge is an advantage
• strong, decisive personality
• troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• good communication skills verbal and written

Job type:

• full time – 8hrs shift Monday to Friday
