The EP team diagnoses and treats entire spectrum of heart rhythm disorders Team works on the same floor with other cardiac outpatient services general cardiology heart failure cardiothoracic and cardiovascular teams. (1 position in Silverdale 1 in Tacoma). BID DUE DATE: FIRST TO FILL!
Details:
- MonFri Clinic days (9a4p) Procedure days (7a4p)
- Call: EOW offsite cell/pager. EP physician coverages EP service during weekdays. Weekday ngiths and weekends cardiologists may call if they need EP input. EP physician does need to be available on weekends (rotating with other EPs) for emergent device implants.
- Setting: Inpatient/outpatient
- Duties: EP procedures EP service clinic visits.
- Required procedures: Afib ablations device implants (high and low voltage) SVT ablations etc.
- EMR: EPIC
- FTE: Full time
- Support staff: Nursing and Medical Assistant Cardiac Device RNs.
- Reason for coverage: Provider out/low staff.
- Timeframe: 3045 days
- Requirements:
- Credentialing with other facilities Yes SJMC
- Orientation: Provider must be available for 23 days prior to start. Tuesday is a typical first day of orientation. Must complete prior to patient care.
- Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels
- Air Travel: Local no flights
- Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.
- Malpractice rates Must be included in the rates
- Orientation 23 days minimum ( half the hourly rate kicks in after 8 hours) Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
- Hourly xx554.00 hourly cap Per hour no OT
- On Call (Daily) rate Must include 4 hours gratis per 24 hours to hold the pager to include 4 hours gratis
- Call back rate Must match hourly ($554.00 call back cap) Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed. Gratis prorate to MSA terms.
- Holiday rates Must be 1.5x the regular rate per CSH guidelines.

- Board Certified Electrophysiology REQUIRED
- Active WA license HIGHLY PREFERRED MUST NOTE IF PROVIDER HAS IMLC TO EXPEDITE LICENSING.
- Active ACLS BLS DEA REQUIRED
- Residency/Fellowship Completion REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice/background HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must disclose provider availability (# of shifts per month) REQUIRED
- Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility REQUIRED
- COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED
