The Technical Support Specialist (TSS) for Radiometer is responsible for supporting our customers via our call center solution and on field. The TSS will support, diagnose via remote connections and installs, repairs, maintains, calibrates and cleans instruments on field.  The technical support specialist troubleshoots and diagnoses product problems in a timely manner, continues positive customer relationships and develops partnerships with Sales to aid in uncovering additional selling opportunities.

This position is part of the Radiometer Iberica´s Service Department located in Spain and Portugal and will be a hybrid position At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support, diagnose and repairs Radiometer analyzers remotely through Radiometer´s Call Center Solution
  • Repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments.
  • Follows logical troubleshooting procedures and diagnoses problems in a timely matter.
  • Manages positive customer relationships
  • Conduct professional behavior with team and customers.
  • Develops strong partnerships with Sales personnel to aid in anticipating potential customer issues and uncover additional selling opportunities in accounts.
  • Reviews solutions with customers; discusses needs and ensures a safe operation situation.
  • Maintains field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.
  • Compliance with all regulatory and company required documentation and service work orders.        
  • Performs on-call duties to cover weekends and overnights
  • Cross covers other regions as necessary
  • Acts as a consultant to the customers in regards to their 360 degree needs for service and support (remote, analyzer, application, IT, IoT and Cyber Security)

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Spanish and English proficiency is mandatory
  • Formación Profesional, Electronics Technology Diploma or similar
  • Up to 50% travel requirements
  • Must be able to have flexible working hours
  • Effective in making appropriate service decisions within deadlines
  • On Call required on an alternating schedule
  • Not experience needed but preferred 1 year on service activities for healthcare industry

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Managing call center operations solutions
  • Basic Networking or IT system upgrades / troubleshooting experience
  • Basic knowledge of IoT, networks, IT and Cyber Security
