Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated TRACTION MOTOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from technical to managing. The position is based in Napoli - IT .

Accountabilities

• Design components and assembled traction motor structures using CAD tools and collaborating with the own referent and other team mates;
• Definition of the functional logic project (technical specifications, descriptions, drawings);
• Realization of the individual sub-components of competence (make and buy) providing the solutions for the implementation of the traction motor functionality;
• Collaborate with the sub-project groups (internal and external) and ensure the development of the assigned project part;
• Concurrent engineering with the production engineering and liaison engineering department;
• Bill of Materials Management by using PLM tool.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• Experience to perform the aforementioned tasks as described in section above
• Master of Science or technical degree required preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical;
• Availability for short domestic and overseas trips.

• Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawing of mechanical components.

Education/Qualifications

Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.

Languages
