As an IT Business Partner specializing in External Relations, you will play a central role in supporting and enhancing collaboration between our organization, external partners, and various internal stakeholders. Leveraging strong connections with business units such as Business Development, Alliance Management, Legal and Quality, as well as with various delivery teams, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the IT aspects of external partner inquiries, such as questionnaires and requests for contract amendment, and provide valuable support for external audits. Your efforts will contribute to the alignment of our IT strategies and delivery with the specific demands and expectations of our valued external partners.
Responsibilities:
First point of contact and inquiry management
* Act as primary interface and first point of contact for all IT-related aspects of external partner inquiries.
* Manage the IT aspects of externel partner inquiries, such as questionnaires, requests for contract amendments and audits, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and delivery teams.
* Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT-related inquiries, meeting partner expectations.
Relationship management
* Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with external partners, ensuring alignment of IT strategies and delivery with their demands.
* Work closely with Business Development and Alliance Management to understand and prepare upcoming partnerships, and optimally support existing ones.
* Foster relations with Legal to ensure alignment of IT strategies and delivery with legal requirements and contractual obligations.
Liaison with internal delivery teams
* Act as a liaison between external partner demands and internal delivery teams, ensuring a seamless transfer of requirements and expectations.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure delivery teams understand and meet external partner needs.
Continuous Improvement
* Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of processes and collaboration with internal stakeholders and delivery teams.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and delivery teams to implement improvements and support strategic initiatives.

Education and experience:
* Degree in IT, Business, or a related field
* Proven experience in IT Business Partnering or related role, with a focus on External Relations
* Education / experience in life sciences a plus
