As an IoT Solution Architect at Haier Europe, you will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative solutions for our Smart Home ecosystem.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design scalable and secure architectures, and support development teams in the implementation of end-to-end IoT solutions using AWS Cloud services.
Your responsibilities will include conducting system assessments, providing technical guidance, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
You will be instrumental in defining and adhering to technical specifications and documentation standards.
Moreover, you will stay updated on industry trends and, when applicable, explore collaboration opportunities with third-party vendors to enhance our IoT ecosystem.
What you need to succeed
Must have
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, AWS SQS, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS S3.
Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions that integrate various communication protocols, ensuring seamless interaction between devices and the cloud.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or IoT Professional, are a plus.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is a plus.
Professional Experience : minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an IT/IoT/Digital Solution Architect, or 5 years as an IT/IoT/Digital Technical Analyst.
Languages : excellent written and spoken English
Soft skills :
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
previous experience mentoring or leading development teams in IoT projects, highlighting leadership capabilities and a commitment to team success.
proactive attitude with a willingness to find innovative solutions that drive results.
demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Nice to have
Proven experience in the design and implementation of IoT solutions within the Smart Home domain, showcasing a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and integrating their technologies into IoT ecosystems.
Comprehensive knowledge of front-end architecture, ensuring the seamless integration of user interfaces with IoT ecosystems for an enhanced user experience.
Excellent presentation and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, emphasizing adherence to technical specifications and documentation standards.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese to facilitate effective communication in a multicultural environment.
