Inventory Supervisor- 1st Shift

Your Role

In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Monday- Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
• Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse inventory efficiency, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Verify inventory paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports
• Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and help organize the annual audit
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Implement continuous improvement action plans and implementing loss prevention programs
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

Your Skills and Experiences

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of recent experience in a full-time inventory role
• 3 or more years as a Supervisor in a warehousing environment
• Experience working with 4,000+ SKUs
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
