Job Description
Reporting to Director Sales – Africa & South West Europe, the Internal Sales / Spare Parts Coordinator has a shared responsibility with Sales Managers and Sales Engineers for achieving Spare Parts booking goals. Team work with the sales team; interaction with customers, distributors and internal stake holders and proactivity in defining and implementing strategic initiatives are key factors for success.
The role also includes forecasting and administrative activities.
Responsibilities:
Interact with customers, distributors, direct Sales Team and Operations in order to grow the Spare Parts business and to improve customer experience.
Support the Sales Team to achieve booking goals by facilitating:
the release of commercial offers
the negotiation of commercial and legal terms
the finalization of purchase order
the resolution of ongoing problems
Improve customer experience by ensuring that all customer concerns are being addressed including proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, warranty claims, etc.
Educate customers on the quality, features and uses of our products through the full use of the company’s marketing material
In coordination with sales managers and sales engineers, develop tailor made initiatives aligned with regional sales objectives to support booking growth
Follow up on open opportunities with assigned direct customers and with sales engineers, ensuring that the Customer Relationship Management tool is constantly and correctly updated
Actively participate in the preparation and review of monthly booking forecast
Analyze booking trends and identify warning signs
Support the team with the arrangement of events (seminars, meetings, trips)
Provide administrative and logistic support (hotels, flights, expense reports)
Additional duties may be assigned Requirements:
Degree (3/5 years) in relevant field and/or 0-2 years relevant experience
Structured and meticulous
Skilled at product demonstrations, presentations and business writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
English fluent
French fluent is a plus
Sales experience is a plus
Training in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance is a plus
Skilled at leading meetings, including setting agendas, preparing, facilitating discussions and assigning follow-up activities
Teamwork skills
Strong skills on defining priorities
Good adaptation skills
