Our new Head of Marketing, Italy will lead and inspire the local marketing team while being an integrated member of our global marketing community and part of the senior leadership team, sharing best practice and expertise and delivering the EMEA marketing plan.

 

Our Marketing team drive customer demand and lead the coordination of our brand and customer plans across Marketing, P&SM and Sales.
Our goal is to deliver sustainable and profitable growth which is efficient in its delivery to drive down costs.
We will drive out inefficiency and cost to invest in leadership, skills, and capability to drive best practice end-to-end integrated planning and commercial programs.

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role

A mix of strategic and operational activities the Head of Marketing will be responsible for the overall marketing plan for Italy.

The local teams will be made up of Product / Supplier Marketing, Digital Marketing, Proposition and Sales Marketing, Content Marketing, Internal Communications, Social Media, PR, and Events. 

 

Leads the following:

  • Ownership of the Italian Integrated Marketing Plan (IMP) to maximise commercial delivery and marketing ROI

  • Participate in Regional and Group marketing strategy and planning processes to develop best practise IMP and marketing delivery

  • Develop and manage Italy marketing budget within Group and Regional guidance

  • The digital roadmap and optimisation for the local markets

  • Manage the personal development of the local marketing teams in strong collaboration with Country Managers 

  • Clear measurement and ROI visibility of all marketing and digital activities

 

Key deliverables for the role: 

  • Lead the local Marketing team implementing  regional and local marketing campaigns, working with external  agencies, in line with objectives and according to established timelines.

  • Manage the internal communication process related to marketing campaigns within the local community. 

  • Manage the creation and production of all local marketing materials 

  • Support the marketing organization in dealing with practical matters related to local events and Sales support activities. 

  • Be the country’s point of contact with the rest of the Marketing community at the EMEA level (e.g., Marketing Operation, Product Marketing, Electronics Marketing)

 

What you will bring

  • 10+ years of Marketing experience

  • Profound experience in a multi-national matrix organization and excellent stakeholder management

  • Hands on digital and performance marketing experience

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Retail experience in B2B 

  • Commercially focused and ability to gather insight from data analysis

  • Experienced with global and local brands

  • Experienced with creative development processes 

  • Proven project management and planning skills

The Head of Marketing  will need to create, inspire and develop a community of Marketing professionals. Setting a compelling vision and direction and mobilise their team to meet the organisation goals. 

The individual will have to be hyper collaborative and represent the full landscape of Marketing and local market voices sensitively to create engagement and successful marketing outcomes. 

A commercial leader connecting marketing activities to performance outcomes, the individual must be able to influence at all levels of the organisation.
