SummaryRole mission
The position is part of the WW Digital Commerce and Performance and will work in the Corporate eMerchandising team.
He/her will report to the Corporate eMerchandising and Digital Visual Merchandising Manager.
He/She will contribute to the definition and execution of a 360? Digital merchandising approach for Gucci.com ensuring to correctly translate the corporate merchandising strategy into the digital context with a close attention to cross-channel specific needs.
The Corporate eMerchandising Coordinator will work mainly in collaboration with Global Merchandising, WW digital merchandising, Photostudio and ABO team, Global Content, Copy teams and regional e-merchandising teams.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
MEN DIGITAL BUSINESS
You will be accountable for development, planning and execution of dedicated eMerchandising strategies for Men's product category.
* Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Leveraging successful products to their full potential by implementing timely promotional strategies.
* Monitoring new product arrivals and managing carry-over product deliveries
* Managing category pages and gift pages across all channels (.COM, Gucci App)
* Ensuring product relevance aligns with communication efforts for a coherent user journey on all site pages
* Exploring and implementing site features to enhance the digital client experience in alignment with corporate objectives
* Coordinating Gucci Client Services (G9) sample selections for key focus areas
* Sales campaign and Product Buying Briefing Presentation
* Ensuring high efficiency and brand equity in the planning of ad hoc cross-category pages, with a focus on cross-category projects, special capsules, and gift page reshuffles
Text & Photography + EXIT LIST
You will be responsible for coordinating the creation of text and photography briefs, as well as managing exit lists for our photo studio and copy team
* Full responsible of the creation of the Men's collection brief and Exit list for copy-writing and photography aligning priorities with Delivery Windows assets defined by drop
* In coordination with Women's eMerchandisers elaborate the Women's collection brief for copy-writing and photography aligning priorities with Delivery Windows assets defined by drop
* Integrating all online-specific commercial needs into the product shots strategy. Defining special assets such as on-model videos, 3D images, special still life shots, and 360? views
* Samples relaunch and monitor deliveries
* Photostudio briefing
* Weekly calls with Photostudio to track and prioritize asset deliveries
* Bring innovative solutions/competitors monitoring on the way of shooting, views and presenting the products
* Coordinate with Copy team to ensure products go live
Key Requirements
* Previous solid experience of at least 3 years in Retail/Luxury Retail in Merchandising or Buying. Digital Merchandising experience strongly preferred
* Strong analytical skills and nice to have proficiency in Google Analytics
* Passion for the fashion industry, commercial awareness with knowledge of competitors
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and work internally across all teams
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
* Enthusiastic individual, open minded and sociable, keen on working and relating with people in a dynamic and challenging environment
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Fluent in English
