Our client is a Multinational Company, market leader in the food sector with a consolidated international brand awareness and a business steady growth, and entities in all continents.
In order to strengthen the management board, we are looking for a Group Chief Financial Officer who will lead the company growth according to other functions.
Your new role
For the Italian HQ they are looking for a Group Chief Financial Officer who can become a focal point and a strategy driver for the Company.
The candidate will support the executive board in strategic decisions and in achieving corporate targets for all group sites. He/ She will lead the evolution of the Global Financial Team and establish more visibility, efficiency and control over the business. Reporting to CEO, he/ she will act as a strategic partner of the Management board, driving business growth and leading corporate initiatives.
He/ She will develop and guide the global Administration, Finance and Control function by monitoring and improving processes, procedures and activities. He/ She will direct and lead global planning and reporting procedure to implement and standardize financial process and tools, and prepare the budget plans.
He/ She will also lead M&A, IT and Legal Services for the entire Group and will manage relations with credit institution, consulting and auditing firms and legal advisors.
The real challenge of this role is to interact with the CEO and the Board of Directors to define and share business trends, corporate and function objectives and budgets.
What you need to be the ideal candidate
We are looking for an outstanding candidate, with a bachelors and master's degree preferably in Business Administration or Economics, at least 7/8 years of previous experience in the role of chief financial officer. The professional has a good expertise in Legal, Tax, Treasury and M&A, IT matters.
The ideal candidate is passionate about improving business performance on a daily basis and able to adapt to changes and complexity, as well as communicate and collaborate effectively with all company stakeholders.
His/her leadership style is characterized by high ethical standards, people management and strong business acumen, in order to earn credibility with teams to define and execute business strategies with ambitious financial goals. He/ She should have managed people and driving different functions, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues across all departments, legal entities and seniorities.
It is important to have a good Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular excel, and Sap; fluency in Italian, English and German is required.
