Graduate Program: Field Service Representative

As a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Representative (FSR) you will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service. This position will include chemistry tests, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports. This is a customer facing position.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job - including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle - and comply with all (COMPANY NAME) Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and Italian laws
* Install and service chemical feed and water treatment and chemical feed equipment at designated locations
* Act as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
* Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
* Work with PLC controls, understands water process treatment design, and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels
* Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrates feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets
* Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis
* Travel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance and related services
* Troubleshoot and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
* Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and new service opportunities as well as upsell service and consumables at existing customer sites based on need
* Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc…
* Optimise system performance
* Drives Value Generation Plan on assigned customer
* Responsible for efficient week planning, service optimization & time spend vs contract
This position is based in Lombardy
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar
* Possession of driving licence required (licence B)
* IT Proficiency
* Fluent in English & Italian
* Ability and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory, at times requiring overnight stay, as required
