Position Summary
Dana is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Gears and shafts specialist to insert in Rivoli LV Desing Team to be part of design team
Main Responsibilities
- To be responsible of gears and shafts design
- to define components geometry in function of life target
- to be avble to perform analytical and FEM simulation loops to optimize the design in function of loads and contrains
- to be able to have a complete overview on gearsets to evaluate pro and cons of all solutions
Job Requirements
Education : University master degree - Mechanical
Professional Background :
- Min. 3 years in Automotive companies
- Experience in gears and shaft design roles
- Experience in gears and shaft manufacturing process
- Experience in analytical and FEM analysis
Hard Skills
Essential :
- Experience in mechanincal construnctions and transmission design with particular focus on gears and shafts
- Knowledge of material and matufacturing process
- Experiens in simulations ( analytical and FEM)
- Automotive development process knowledge ( design and validation phases, from design to serier components process…)
- Proficient in both English and Italian
Considered as a plus
- Able to take decisions to define best technical solution with limit direct resposnable superviosion
- 2D and 3D skills
- Knowlenged of coating proceese and benefits
- Knowledge of particular surface proccese ( ex. Shot peening) and benefits
Soft Skills
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to communicate and effectively
- Sound analytical and organizational skills with ability to prioritise effectively
- Forward-thinking and results-driven
- Able to work under pressure
