The Role of Front Desk Supervisor
Reporting to theFront Office Manager you will be responsible for welcoming and checking in hotel guests, introducing the hotel facilities and its accommodation. You will take payment from customers ensuring the local regulations and PCI compliance is follow, arrange luggage to be delivered to guest rooms, and respond to a wide variety of guest requests. You will be responsible to ensure the team is following the standard operating proceduresmaking sure that guests receive the highest levels of service excellence. You will cover the night manager when off duty, as well as some of the duty managers shift when needed.
Our Ideal Front Desk Supervisor candidate will have
Atleast high school diploma.At least three years of Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality operations. A natural talent for ensuring our guests feel at home, excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and an exceptional attentive for detail. You must have fluency in English and Italian. A third European language would represent ad advantage.
This position is based at the San Domenico Palace Taormina and the contract is seasonal. The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
