The InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace is a luxury hotel in the center of the City with 160 rooms and suites in warm tones, natural materials, enriched with neoclassical and contemporary details. Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
? Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest welcomes
? Deep knowledge of service standards and sequence of service
? In charge of your area by taking orders, managing guests needs and receiving payments
? Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, offering the appropriate service. Focus on food allergies and intolerance
? Understanding POS system
? Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, public areas, making recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed
? Reporting to Restaurant Manager / Assistant
[requirements]
? Good knowledge of food and beverage with an emphasis in wines.
? Experience of 1 year or more within the food and beverage department, with the same role in a luxury hotel
? Able to work under pressure
? Friendly and positive with a flexible approach
? Good communication skills and genuine approach with our guests
? Good problem-solving skills that will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
? Fluency in the Italian & English language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
? Familiarity with Symphony PMS and Restaurant reservations system
