The InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace is a luxury hotel in the center of the City with 160 rooms and suites in warm tones, natural materials, enriched with neoclassical and contemporary details. Opened on May 2023 and located in the heart of Rome, on the legendary Via Veneto, in a 1900s building originally used as the library of the American embassy and later repurposed to accommodate visiting ambassadors to Rome, the InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace is an icon of the Dolce Vita.

For our International Luxury Hotel Brand located in the heart of Rome, we are looking for a passionate and efficient Front Office Shift Leader to coordinate our daily Front Office operations. The ideal candidate would provide excellent customer service, making sure operations are supervised and completed to the highest level.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
* Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcome;
* Acknowledging Loyalty programs and returning guests in person or over the phone;
* Coordinating daily tasks in FO making sure they are completed within required time frame ensuring appropriate follow up;
* Mantaining highest level of communications within all departments making sure crucial information is conveyed at all times;
* Be the first filter for guest complaints, applying ILEAD principles;
* Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings;
* Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
* Staying one step ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
* Being our guests' trusted contact - helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations;
* Reporting to Front Office Manager / Assistant;

* Excellent communication skills;
* Problem-solving skills, turning issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories;
* Fluency in the Italian & English language - extra language would be preferred, but not essential;
* Literate and tech-savvy - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills, including familiarity with Opera PMS;
* Preferred working experience with supervisory roles within International Luxury Hotel Brands.
