Chiesi Research & Development
Our R&D team represents a fundamental asset for the business. It is divided into integrated functional areas focusing on pipeline projects including discovery and preclinical research, chemical manufacturing and controls, drug delivery technology, clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, intellectual property, quality assurance, R&D project and portfolio management. Headquartered in the new purpose-built and fully integrated Research and Development Centre in Parma (Italy), the team also has important operations in Paris (France), Chippenham (UK), Cary (US), Stockholm (Sweden) and Toronto (Canada).
Who we are looking for
Main Responsibilities
• Support the pharmaceutical development (formulation and process) of Drug Products (inhalation, oral and parenterals), from the candidate selection for the earlier clinical phases to the full development phase, registration and market launch.
• Design of the experimental activities, manage their execution and interpret the results (including interaction with CDMOs)
Experience Required
The candidate should have done at least a master thesis in Pharmaceutical Technology.
A PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and inhalation fields is a preferential option.
Education
Minimal requirement is the Master degree in scientific subjects (Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology/Chemistry).
Preferentially the candidate has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology field.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, especially regarding techniques for development of inhalation products, including basic characterization:
- Knowledge of formulation development and processing of Pharmaceutical Products
- Knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes and documentation
