Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Senior Manager.

The Fleet Operations Senior Manager will be in charge of planning, supervising and delivering the Fleet Operations related to the Games. He or she will be part of the Transport team, responsible for reliable, sustainable and efficient transport services to, from and around all the Olympic venues.

Activities include:

  • Determining the service levels of fleet services, in coordination with other Functional Areas within the organisation and dealing with External Clients, Host Territories and Local Authorities;
  • Define and supervise the activity of the car provider and car services provider to ensure the necessary level of service to stakeholders in relation with the fleet services;
  • Orient, supervise and manage the planning stage and the operations;
  • Interface with the other functional areas within the Transport Department to verify the progress of infrastructural interventions and the availability of bus routes, parking and stopping facilities;
  • Organise and lead meetings, scheduling agendas, supervise preparation of presentations and planning of activities;
  • Define the budget and budget optimisation initiatives;
  • Conduct the final debrief of the Games operations;
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in the field of Transports and/or Public or Private car transportation;
  • Experience in planning related to big Sport Events or other kind of International Events is preferred;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and complex environment;
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other Functional Areas within the Organization and with External Clients and Public authorities;
  • Flexibility and comfort with traveling as required;
  • English: level C1 or equivalent certification;
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
