Your responsibilities
- Performs or coordinates complex and diverse engineering activities associated with service projects and contracts.
- Troubleshoot applying own knowledge and experience.
- Implements actions to fully explore all possibilities and eliminate/minimize problems.
- Prepares or provide input for technical documents such as specifications, procedures, or technical reports.
- Prepares timesheets, service reports, expense reports and other documents immediately following the work assignment.
- Propose to Customers ways to optimize their operations or make general improvements.
- Seeks other opportunities to promote Customer satisfaction and foster harmonious business relations.
- Apply all ABB policies and company ethics.
Your background
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Although most of the projects are in Italy, availability to travel within Europe is required.
- More than 2 years of experience in commissioning or service for automation projects. Experience in Power Generation and in Excitation will be considered a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of the standard protocols used in the industrial market.
- Good sense of urgency to Customer needs and good customer relations.
- Good level of English language knowledge.
- Experience with ABB Control Builder will be considered a plus.
