Field Service Engineer

Honeywell is looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) division for Padova.

As a Field Service Engineer you will be focused on employing our Connected Services technologies and offerings on Customer sites to optimize the performance of their facilities and deliver a step-change in service outcomes. You will undertake a contemporary approach to service, employing new tools, new technologies to better service building management and security systems and provide Honeywell Customers with transparency of action and outcome underscoring the value you add to their facility and business. On a daily basis you will be driving forward actions, providing recommendations on how to enhance building performance, comfort improvements, occupant experience and providing Customers with the transparency to make more informed CAPEX and OPEX decisions. You will also be part of a team focused on driving new business expansion, particularly 3rd party service, creating new growth opportunities for our business

Your responsibilities:

  •        Act as a primary technical resource & customer support for various project and service contract sites
  •        Programming of controllers used in our solution offerings
  •        Review drawings and design of network infrastructure
  •        Installation/review of control system logic in controllers
  •        Testing & commissioning of software and applications
  •        Provide Technical & Product support to internal & external customers
  •        Consultation regarding application of Honeywell’s products and technologies
  •        Review and appraise specifications of projects
  •        Provide technical support data for the Contracts, Sales, Project and Service teams and help negotiate technical issues at customer level
  •        Deliver proactive and measurable outcomes for our Customers with a focus on occupant comfort, energy consumption and building-asset performance utilizing Connected Service technologies and EBI too 
  •        Using data & analytics compare the performance of the system against the intended functionality 
  •        Prepare engineering drawings and application projects specifically for Service Jobs (i.e. SLJ’s) 
  •        Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications (Smart figure) 

Must have:

  •        Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related
  •        Minimum of 3 years’ Service/Technical Support experience in Controls/Process Automation or related field
  •        Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching
  •        Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management systems and procedures
  •       Knowledge of Automation/Control systems within buildings (HVAC/Fire/Security), of Cyber Security and of IOT (internet of Things) Technology
  •        Background in PLC and/or HMI based programming preferred
  •       ITIL Foundation Certificate and CISCO Certification are a plus
  •       Fluency in Italian language
