Who we are looking for
Purpose
the Global External Communication team supports the operational work and interact with the media for small local projects, manage the daily clipping as well as supporting on our digital channel strategy and website refreshment
Main Activities
• Gain proficiency in practical application of External Communication & Media Relations through participation in projects, assessments, exposure, and team collaboration.
• Research, write and edit a variety of communications materials, including articles, company and department news, event summaries, corporate initiatives updates, interviews, social media posts, media reporting, etc.
• Maintain media relations with local and national (Italy) media outlets
• Assist and be motivated in communications content curation and delivery across affiliates
• Assist in monitoring, analysing, listening and reporting on media and social media platforms
• Collaborate with the team on new ideas and tools to help enhance communications strategies.
• Help coordinate meetings and events and/or conferences.
• Assist and coordinate community events and external programs.
• Manage department editorial calendar.
• Develop daily clipping
• Support in graphic design and visual content creation and provide additional team-related support, as necessary.
Education
Graduate in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Affairs
Languages
Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
Technical Skills
Knowledge of basic communication techniques
Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Good knowledge of graphic tools (photoshop, inDesign, video editor, canva) curious about digital communication tools (website editor, teams, social media analysis tools)
