WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOREU Institutions: Senior Integration and Security Architect (full-remote)with expertise in case managementUnit SANTE.R.4 'Information Systems' is in charge of developing, maintaining and operating the DG's information systems at the three geographical sites in Brussels, Luxembourg and Grange. The unit works directly with the policy units on digital solutions to implement SANTE's policies and manages the local IT infrastructure and support.The mission of DG SANTE is to:improve and protect human health, and support the modernisation of Europe's health systems;ensure that all food, feed and medicinal products marketed in the EU are safe and that EU standards are promoted globally;protect animal health and welfare and plant health;contribute to a well-functioning and fair internal market in food.Health and Food Safety IT projects and operationsThe Integrated Management System for Audits is a system designed to process and manage cases through various audit phases in line with the standard operating procedures related to health and food safety.The selected consultant could also work with any other project of DG SANTE.

YOUR TASKS

Architecture, design and implementation of the integration layer between backend systems and secure messaging softwareProvide expert advice on confidentiality, integrity, authorisation, authentication, nonrepudiation, availabilityAssist the team to test and conduct periodic vulnerability and Security risk assessments of the messaging and data transfer systemProvide comprehensive guidance and consulting for the optimisation of the integration layerParticipate to the maintenance of technical specifications related to transport and messaging protocols and their implementation in software YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEFollowing specific expertise is required:
