This role is responsible for of leading a specific area of the business within El Corte Inglés (ECI).
The ECI Supervisor will be responsible within this area for achieving:
Pre-determined sales results through good leadership of the sales team.
In addition, he/she will monitor the sales of the corners under his/her responsibility through a series of KPIS.
It must also provide the sales teams with continuous training in product, sales techniques, processes, etc.
Overall, ensure that corners in the area are continuously monitored, and that they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Your responsibilities as our ECI Supervisor: 
 
  • Sales Driving: Support the team to achieve the sales targets providing the right guidelines Support the processes, like returns, transfers, deliveries etc.Supervise the Staff corners and the Non-Staff corners, following a monthly calendar and doing periodic visits to the corners. Participate directly in the opening and closing of new corners.
  • Team Development: Ensure good management with the staff from initial training with new employees and follow-up of day-to-day problems (shifts, extras, holidays, etc.) Ensure that adequate staff is available in each corner by planning staff, monitoring of hours worked, holidays, overtime, etc. Participate in the selection of staff to cover the needs of the point of sale, when necessary.
  • Operations: Follow up the processes, stock, inventory, returns, transfers, etc. and avoid big shrinkages
  • Consumer Centric: Ensure that the team knows the products in the corner and their specificities, in order to be able to communicate them correctly to customers. Train the team with the necessary tools to be able to offer the customer the best advice, in order to increase customer loyalty towards our brands.

  • Prior work experience of 2-3 years as Retail Area Manager in fashion brands
  • Results-oriented and committed person.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate person who loves the Retail World.
  • Organized and consistent person, able to implement and monitor planning.
  • Resolute, flexible and pro-active person.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Fluent in English
