We are looking for a Development Project Manager with a main responsibility in leading Development projects for Fuel gas supply systems (FGSS), a product line in Marine Power supply. 

 

The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland  but also other locations in Finland  and Trieste, Italy can be considered. We offer the possibility of hybrid work. 
  
What you will be doing
 
As a Development Project Manager, your work will include leading Development projects for fuel gas supply systems. You’ll be working as a part of the innovative FGSS team with diverse expertise and contributors to the decarbonization of the marine market. 

 

Your role will include but is not limited to the following:
 

  • Project definition and project planning
  • Manage projects during execution and ensure project deliverables are handed over in time according to requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as suppliers, regulatory bodies and customers
  • Research and evaluate technology options and weigh the cost/benefit on behalf of the company.
  • Present progress in projects for internal and external stakeholders

 

Requirements for the position: 

 

  • MSc or BSc in Engineering
  • A strong technical background from working experience in marine, process, or energy industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Availability to travel from time to time.

 

To be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 

 

  • Professional change management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and goal-focused attitude to work.
  • Genuine interest in technology and solutions to decarbonize the marine market.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising project teams.
  • Knowledge about fuel supply systems and 4-stroke engines for LNG, Methanol, Ammonia and Hydrogen.
