As a Design Research Intern, you’ll be a trailblazer, detective and bridge builder all rolled into one.
What Will You Experience
- Bridge the gap between customer insights and bleeding-edge technologies
- Utilize a variety of research methods to uncover hidden desires and unmet needs of our customers, such as market research, interviews, focus groups, and usability test and more
- Analyse data and translate findings into actionable design principles to support the design team
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, in-house users and customers to ensure every innovation is human-centred and impactful
Your Profile
What Will You Need
- You are passionate and curious about the world, with empathy for others and a natural curiosity about it
- Interested in pursuing a career in design strategy and / or research, regardless of your related education background and experience
- You are eager to learn from the contribute to a team of diverse talented individuals
- Excel at transforming complex data into inspiring and informative narratives
- Driven by your understand of user needs, you have the ability to think outside the box and connect the dots between seemingly disparate concepts to anticipate future opportunities that lies ahead
- A strong critical thinking and problem-solving skill, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work onsite at our Hong Kong office in part-time contract basis (2-3 workdays per week)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with user research methodologies and strong understanding of human-centred design principles
- A portfolio showcasing your research skills and innovative thinking / A passion of technology and keen interest in emerging trend
- Experience with data analysis tools and a willingness to learn new ones
