Data Management is a key component of AXA Partners Data strategy for a sound and sustainable Data Governance within the organisation.
Data Managers, at AXA Partners, are responsible for implementing and ensuring that data management standards and good practises are implemented consistently in their domain of responsibility. They support data management initiatives to improve the overall compliance and quality of the data managed in their respective data domains.
As a member of the central AXA Partners Data Office, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of the overall AXA Partners Data Management framework, by establishing AXA Partners data management standards and guidelines, by driving and supporting the implementation of these standards within AXA Partners entities (including the supporting tools required to support these standards), and by monitoring and reporting on progress.
You will therefore contribute to a great and diverse range of activities in the various dimensions of data management (Data Governance, Data Risk Management, Data Quality, Data Architecture, etc…).
You will also enjoy evolving in a diverse, multicultural and global environment, in a transversal role requiring interactions with a wide range of actors across the board of the organisation, and within the various geographical entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining AXA Partners the data management framework (policy, standards, guidelines).
- Coordinating enhancements to the data management tools, and reporting framework.
- Driving, coordinating and monitoring the execution of the data policy within the organisation.
- Reporting progress to the various stakeholders.
- Supporting the various teams on their data management activities.
- In a decentralised operating model, you will also have to interact with the network of Data Managers (embedded within the various Data Teams).
- When required, you will supervise consultants who will support the various initiatives.
- You will need to occasionally represent AXA Partners before external auditors.
- You will need to communicate internally with all staff members for coordinating and ensuring completion of data management processes.

Your Profile
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a project manager, business analyst, or data architect.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated expertise in data management and Data Governance within the context of large-scale projects or organizations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders ranging from Executive Committee members to operational teams.
- Proven track record of operating with an "Agile" mindset in international, multicultural, and complex environments.
- Service-oriented approach, capable of working autonomously within defined parameters.
- Experience driving transformative change within large and intricate organizations.
- Strong writing skills, with the capacity to produce concise requirements, specifications, and documentation.
- Ability and experience in delivering comprehensive reports to stakeholders at various levels, effectively raising issues and managing priorities.
- Familiarity with data compliance regulations such as GDPR, Solvency II, etc., would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the DAMA Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) framework would be beneficial.
