Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning all logistics activities for a given perimeter so CHEP provides a constant and efficient supply of equipment to its customers (Retailers and Manufacturers) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Daily Management of delivery orders • Accurate and timely postings of Logistics cost.

  • Management and control of cancelations, advance orders, etc.. with customers.

  • Local Level customer collaboration • Use Supply Chain, JDA and Inventory Management techniques to guarantee high service levels at low cost.

  • Identify & implement relocation flows to guide master planning Forecast all flows and stocks with the IT Supply Chain Tools.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Computer basics tools.

  • Good numeracy.

  • Excellent communication skills (email, phone).

  • Able to relate to customers, transporters, team members and other CHEP departments appropriately and switch easily between them.

  • SAP and Transport Management system desirable.

  • Knowledge of CHEP, SAP and JDA would be a plus.

Experience:

  • Logistics execution expertise.

  • Supply Chain background.

  • Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts (emails, calls).

  • Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable to manage those urgencies.

Languages:

  • Italian.

  • English.

  • Spanish would be a plus.
