Controls Testing Manager - IT
Salary national: circa ?55,000 - London: circa ?70,000

We're currently seeking a dedicated Controls Testing Manager to be a part of our Controls Testing Team and support our wider (COMPANY NAME) IT team.
A bit about the job:
As the Controls Testing Manager, you will work to craft and agree detailed design adequacy and operational effectiveness, testing plans and procedures for agreed scope of Business Protection (BP) and IT Standard related mandatory controls known as IT General Controls (ITGCs) needed to support Financial Reporting (FRCF) regulatory audit requirements.
You will document and implement testing procedures through devising and communication of agreed schedules/plans with both the Controls Testing team, the wider (COMPANY NAME) IT and operational organisation, and third-party suppliers. Along with delivering sophisticated and sometimes difficult messages back into the organisation regarding the design and operation of controls and potential impacts on operational and cyber risks.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Strong analytical and teamwork skills
* Superb communication skills (both verbal and written) and experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels
* The ability to actively and effectively lead part of a distributed team to deliver results- by supervising reports and support FRCF Controls Testing Team colleagues in delivering and documenting that testing and measuring the effectiveness of the operation of the agreed ITGCs throughout the organisation and IT infrastructure
* A good understanding of IT systems, security and/or day to day IT operations, risk management frameworks, Business Protection and IT controls
* Experience of working in an audit role, controls assurance role or similar
