Overview:
Working in SMC guarantee the opportunity to develop a professional experience of great value in a highly dynamic company. Reporting to the Operation Controller the Controlling Intern will contribute to strengthen control in the supply chain, industrial process, inventory control.
This is a full time (40 hours per week), 6 month fixed term contract, based in Milan.
Tasks & competence areas:
  • Support in budgeting and forecasting
  • Support in monthly closing activities and monthly reporting
  • W.A.C. calculation and stock valuation and analysis
  • Inventory Raw Materials monitoring and evaluation
  • Actual Costs monitoring and variances analysis.
  • Support the operations team Leader with periodic analysis and monthly closures/KPI analysis.
Profile:
  • Fluent in English and Italian is a requirement, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance or Engineering would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate, motivated, curious, with a proactive approach.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office focus on Excel, and comfortable in learning new ERP tools.
  • Collaborative and supportive with colleagues of team and other departments.
  • Able to build solid relationships with internal and external team.
