Job Description
Consumer Panel is a permanent tracking that allows FMCG clients and retailers to have a complete understanding of Shopper behaviour. With Consumer Panel data it is possible to deep dive Consumer and Shopper knowledge, categories and brands performance drivers, diagnosis of purchase behaviour and trends.
The Consultant & Market Analyst is a key role with our ' Classic Clients' ( clients with strong presence in Italy ) team in Consumer Panel ITA. The Consultant & Market Analyst undertakes a variety of client account management, as well as market research analysis tasks including data analysis into strategic client recommendations as well as prompt response to client queries and day-to-day client management. Reporting to our Classic Clients Lead also based in Milan, the Consultant & Market Analyst is an analytical thinker with solid commercial acumen who is able to communicate and collaborate effectively with a variety of internal & external stakeholders.
You Will:
- Service key FMCG clients based in Italy
- Prepare presentations with concise conclusions and recommendations for the Clients and consequent presentation
- Build long-term relationships with Clients by offering and delivering relevant data and tools tailored to the specific needs to support business decisions
- Develop additional business with Clients and potential new Clients by offering solutions tailored to their. 'Soft Up-Selling'
- Prepare sales offers in line with CPS-GfK Guidelines and active sales self-driven
- Cooperate with Project Execution Team in the preparation of analyses
- ( After comprehensive onboarding and training ) Present to c lients as well as host industry meetings
You Have:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, quantitive research or related field.
- Ability to think analytically and analyze data and derive operational recommendations
- Ability to present the results of analysis / project to the Client and to conduct meetings
- Proven skills within the areas of effective communication and presentation
- Can do attitude and curiosity
- Native/ Bilingual Italian Language Skills
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (at least B2)
- Good knowledge of preparing sheets in MS Excel and presentations in MS Power Point
- Preferred higher education (Economics, Marketing, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Quantitative Methods)
- Willingness to develop and grow in the field of market research, constant improvement of the tool workshop
- Self-reliance, responsibility, ability to work in a team
- Interest in the FMCG industry or work experience in research agency will be an additional advantage
