RINA is currently recruiting for a Communications Coordinator - Infrastructure to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Infrastructure Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in coordinating stakeholder and manage communications.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Stakeholder Management:

    • Identify and map key stakeholders in engineering projects, including clients, internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage and positively manage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Technical Communications:

    • Coordinate technical communications among engineering teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and project specifications among all involved parties.
  3. Communication Planning:

    • Develop detailed communication plans for projects, including regular updates, technical reports, and meetings with stakeholders.
    • Ensure communications align with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
  4. Expectation Management:

    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure stakeholder expectations are clear, realistic, and manageable.
    • Address concerns and manage expectations effectively.
  5. Stakeholder Feedback:

    • Collect, analyze, and synthesize stakeholder feedback to improve project processes and communication.
    • Implement stakeholder assessment responses to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
  6. Effective Presentations:

    • Create visually appealing presentations and deliver messages persuasively during meetings with external and internal stakeholders.
    • Tailor presentations to meet specific needs of various stakeholders.
  7. Meeting Management:

    • Conduct effective meetings, ensuring participation and understanding of all stakeholders.
    • Maintain focus on project objectives and facilitate open and productive communication. #LI-AC2

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General or Economics
Other in Communication and Media

Qualifications

In addition to the specific communication and stakeholder management skills, the ideal candidate should possess a combination of interpersonal skills to ensure success in managing the complex dynamics of stakeholders in engineering projects.

    • Ability to translate technical language into understandable terms for non-specialists.

    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders.
  3. Interfunctional Coordination:

    • Ability to collaboratively work with engineering teams, designers, and other stakeholders.
  4. Basic Technical Understanding:

    • Basic understanding of engineering issues and technical terminology.
  5. Time Management:

    • Ability to organize and manage activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
